Location: Take I-90 to North Bend, take exit 32 436th Ave SE, go North. Turn left on North Bend Way and take the first right on SE Mount Si Road. Cross the Middle Fork of the Snoqualimie River, wind your way 2.3 miles past the Little Si Trailhead to the Mount Si Trailhead. Map.

Elevation Start/End: 660/4167 3500 foot overall elevation gain.

Length: 8-mile round-trip

Trail Info: This is the quintessential hike for the Seattle area. Located with easy access from Seattle, only 3 miles off of 90, this huge lurking mountain sits behind the city of North Bend. The trail climbs up and up and up. There are around 30 switch backs with a small section of 200 yards that is flat. We arrived at the trailhead at noon, waited around for Nate cause he was stuck in traffic and left at 12:45. We got to the top around 3pm and were back down in the parking lot by 4:30. Fog socked in the mountain top but briefly cleared from some great views.
