Mark Story

You at some point in your life must be able to embrace yourself as you are and as you were. For example right now I am over weight.

Here I am at 3 1/2 1971, that is my sister Robyn next to me.

Here is me in kindergarten. This would be about 1972-73, this was taken while living in St. Joseph Missouri.

This is me in 2nd grade or so.

5th Grade I got glasses, the first pair I was a pretty hip looking kid, but it got worse.

Here we see the beginning of geekdom starting, glasses you shouldn't be wearing and parts of your body starting to not fit, like those 2 big front teeth.

 

Here geekdom is raging, this is 8th grade 1982. The era of Dungeon and Dragon's, what am I thinking with that chain? There also appears to be a slight mustache thing going on.

1984 10th grade, High School. Here is I think I emerging from geekdom, vanity has arrived I have got rid of the glasses, but the chain has gotten thicker. Amd I am in a velour izod that my Grandmother gave me for Christmas, what was she thinking giving it to me, but more importantly what was I thinking wearing it?

This would be fall of 1984 as a Junior in High School. So a transformation has taken place, I have braces, but my hair is now died blond. There is a tale to tell but I won't go into it right now.

So there isn't much story here, just pictures and some of them are worth way more than a 1000 words.
