Scout Activity Possible 50 miler 2004

Goals

• To do a 50 mile loop hike with scout troop
• To experience wilderness
  • To see sights of beauty that require effort and our not otherwise accessed by a large majority of the population
• To have fun

  Proposed that after the 50 miler we do a river rafting trip with Whitewater Voyages on the Tuolumne River. Driving directions and distance from Hetch Hetchy trailhead to meeting site for rafting trip. They do have a 1 day trip
  available on Sat 26th 12 or more 15% discount plus 12th person is free.
  
  Current 1 day charge is $210
  
  I have a reservation for 21 people, d. Deposit $75 per person has been paid. $1575. Reservation number is 20005 and the final payment is due 5/27/04 30 days prior to travel.
  
  18 miles, long one dayer meet at 8 am and get back to meeting place at 6pm, lunch provider snacks and juice at the end

  We have 2 permits, (one for 15 people and one for 6 people). Permit ID 1820 and ID 1821, they are for DEPARTING on Sunday June 20th, we have to be 4 miles off the trail head by camp time. The permits must be picked up at the Hetch Hetchy Entrance station before 10 AM or the permits will be void.
